Bogner Family Funeral Home is owned and operated by David and his wife Mary Beth. They are assisted by David's parents, Harold and Kathy Bogner, Ryan Hobbs and Joseph Erni.  Harold and Kathy have been serving the community since opening Bogner Funeral Home in 1963.  Ryan Hobbs and Joseph Erni are licensed funeral directors and embalmers with extensive experience in the field.

David Bogner is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. He began his career in funeral service in 1983, while working with his parents in North Ridgeville. He has owned and operated the Bogner Family Funeral Home since 1996. He grew up in North Ridgeville and is a graduate of North Ridgeville High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Adminstration from The Ohio State University, and a degree in Mortuary Science from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in the Spring of 1991. He has received many awards including the Charles Dhonau Memorial Award for highest excellence in Embalming technology. David enjoys serving his community in many ways. In addition to working at the funeral home, he volunteers his time with several community organizatons. He has served as president of the North Ridgeville Chamber of Commerce, the North Ridgeville Lions Club and has served as an officer of the Knights of Columbus, North Ridgeville Council 7970. He currently serves as a trustee North Ridgeville Community Care and volunteers as manager of St. Peter's Cemetery.

Mary Beth Bogner is a licensed funeral director. She received her Bachelors degree in Education from Ashland University. Mary Beth grew up in North Ridgeville and is a graduate of North Ridgeville High School. She gives back to her community by volunteering her time with several community groups. She is currently serving as Secretary of North Ridgeville Arts Council. She and her husband David are blessed with two children, Samantha and Nicholas

Harold and Kathy Bogner are licensed funeral directors. They started the first funeral home in North Ridgeville in 1963. They both are truly committed to serving others and continue to be active funeral directors.  In 2011, Harold is honored to be recognized by the Ohio Funeral Director's Association for 50 years as a licensed funeral director.

Ryan Hobbs is a licensed funeral director and embalmer with 17 years of experience in funeral care.  He graduated from Fostoria (OH) High School in 1992 and attended The Ohio State University in Columbus.  Ryan earned his Bachelor's degree with honors from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1995, where he also served as class president.  Ryan gained his initial work experience in the Toledo area before managing the former Mann Funeral Home in Fostoria for seven years. He then owned and operated two funeral homes in Northwest Ohio before selling his organization in 2010.  He appreciates the opportunities his profession affords him to carry out acts of mercy and compassion for those in need.  Ryan has been an active member of the communities in which he has served including terms as president of Lions, Kiwanis and Rotary; as well as board membership of the American Red Cross, United Way and Hospice.  He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus.  Ryan is married to his high school sweetheart, Erica (Hare) Hobbs.  The couple has six children, Anthony, Alexis, Avery, Anderson, Adeline and Adam, who are the center of their lives.  They are members of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville.  Ryan also enjoys reading, discussing matters of faith, and is an avid fan of Ohio State football. 

Joseph Erni is a licensed funeral director and embalmer with 18 years in funeral service. Joseph grew up in Brooklyn, Ohio and graduated from Brooklyn High School.  He went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University and his Associate of Applied Science from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.  Joseph has been a licensed funeral director for the past 15 years in a Cleveland area funeral home before joining the Bogner Family Funeral Home in 2011. He is a member of the Embalmers Association of Cleveland and the Cuyahoga County Funeral Directors Association.  Joseph and his wife Allison enjoy being active in the community.
