Grief Support

Bogner Family Funeral Home is proud to be a community partner with Cornerstone of Hope to provide bereavement services.  We recognize the need to provide compassionate and professional bereavement services for our families.  By partnering with Cornerstone of Hope, we are able to serve children, teens and adults who seek additional support after the death of a loved one.  For further information visit, www.cornerstoneofhope.org  

We also offer a annual help for the holidays program. This program in held in October of each year and is designed to prepare recently bereaved families for the upcoming holiday season. This program is also open to anyone who has experienced a loss and is facing the holiday season for the first time since losing their loved one. The program is held on a Saturday afternoon and invitations are sent to every family we have served within the previous 14 months. The program includes a memorial candle lighting ceremony in which each person represented is remembered. Thoughts and ideas are shared on how we can celebrate the holiday season in the midst of grief. The program is always well attended and the participants are always glad they came.

Memorial library of greif support books, videos and CDs are availalbe at the funeral home, and like all of our in house greif support is completely free of charge.
